Who we are

Gridlore is a location-based game in development in the UK. This website is run by the creator of Gridlore, who is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@gridlore.co.uk.

What we collect

When you sign up for updates we store:

• your email address
• the side you picked (Free or Contain), if you picked one
• the date and time you signed up and gave consent

We do not store your IP address in our database. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security.

Why we collect it

To email you news about Gridlore, such as launch dates, beta invites and crowdfunding. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box when you sign up.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we stop sending Gridlore updates, whichever comes first.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. It is stored with our web host, 20i, in the UK. If we start using an email sending service, we will name it here before we use it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email hello@gridlore.co.uk. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies. If you pick a side, your choice is saved in your own browser so the page remembers it. It stays on your device unless you sign up.

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
